Bio dynamic wine regions

With over 20 different wine regions in the Western Cape, it’s hard to choose a favourite. One of the most interesting, however, is the Hemel-en- Aarde / Walker Bay region. The diversity of this region is so bio dynamic that you may find grapes growing within meters of the ocean and also in valleys with temperatures reaching 20°C, terroir and climate being two of the most important aspects of grape growing and wine making. The main varietals for this region are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage, South Africa’s own home grown creation.
